You remark led me to a WinBoard bug, however! 8-)Turns out when you display the board with a border around it (unlike XBoard, WinBoard can do that), the seek graph is not aware of the border, and is drawn starting in the upper left corner, with the size of the board, rather than the size of the board+border. I guess I should scale it up to cover board+border, rather than shift it to just cover the board. No reason I can see to keep displaying a border around the seek graph.
