Is there a show stopping technical reason that Xorriso could not read file
contents from named pipes?
I have video capture and encoding capability and can send almost any video
format to a fifo for recording or processing.
I would like to be able to record live video direct to disc, one file per
session. ISO9660 is fine, UDF video-dvd not needed.
>From a software perspective, nothing I've found seems to do this, but
>consumer VHS/DVD decks can manage on-the-fly record to disc somehow.
I don't even care if it would need DVD+RW media if necessary to go back and
write some after-the-video-stops "fix up" information.
So, can someone either hit me with a clue bat or point me to a white paper or
discussion about why this can/can-not be done?
Thanks,
Steve
