$ dvd+rw-format -ssa=268435456 /dev/sr0
* BD/DVD±RW/-RAM format utility by <appro@fy.chalmers.se>, version 7.1.
* 25.0GB BD media detected.
- illegal command-line option for this media.
- BD-R can be pre-formatted only once

The medium is left untouched (not anyhow modified).

It is also left untouched for:

$ dvd+rw-format /dev/sr0
* BD/DVD±RW/-RAM format utility by <appro@fy.chalmers.se>, version 7.1.

But unexpectedly it is modified with

xorriso -dev /dev/sr0 -list_formats -list_speeds

Which I expected to only report the information (without "-list_speeds" it is left untouched too). After this command it could not be used with growisofs anymore. (Up to now I did use growisofs solely, but I like to migrate to xorriso. I only burn ready images made with truncate and mkudffs to BD-R disks.)

I'm not sure how helpful it is to report issues from Suse Leap 15.2 packages. Is it suggested or required to compile the libs and tools from upstream repository source. I honestly like to avoid that ;)
