compile issue

readline detection failure when running configure with --enable-vtysh switch.

System: Athlon, Mandrake 8.2, linux 2.4.18
readline + readline-devel packages installed

readline version 4.2a

See attached file, for ./configure output, and verification of readline + readline-devel packages installed. 

This works fine on my Redhat 9.0 box, with readline-4.3 installed.
