Hi, I noticed a bug today. When deleting multiple lines with repeated
C-k, they cannot then be yanked back properly with C-y. The C-y only
inserts a newline. This only happens when more than one C-k occurs in
succession. A single C-k (i.e., delete to end of line) can be yanked
correctly.
The work-around is to set the mark, move point, cut with C-w, then
C-y; but this is not nearly as convenient.
The correct C-k behavior worked in 2.3.16 and the regression was
introduced in 2.3.17. 18 & 19 also exhibit the incorrect behavior.
FWIW, I'm running Arch Linux x86_64, ncurses 5.7, ./configure with no
special options, and compiled with gcc 4.5.1.
