 soil cannot be installed on the linux salmonella machines: http

 The interesting error message is:

 {{{
 soil.c:15:19: fatal error: GL/GL.h: No such file or directory
 }}}

 Is {{{GL.h}}} supposed to be uppercase?  The system does have
 {{{/usr/include/GL/gl.h}}}, but not {{{/usr/include/GL/GL.h}}}.  Is it
 just a typo or it really expects GL.h to exist?
