Hello, everybody!
The current CVS version has some serious bugfixes and provides a new
tool (`chicken-setup') for easy distribution/build/installation of
library extensions to Chicken. Since I had some reports on failing
builds from the CVS sources, here is a tarball:
http://www.call-with-current-continuation.org/chicken-0.1076.tar.gz
The setup-tool is pretty easy to use. Whith the current version
properly installed, just saying
% chicken-setup --install <extension>
should extract, build and install the stuff.
Here is some sample code to play with:
http://www.call-with-current-continuation.org/gl.egg (thanks to Tony)
http://www.call-with-current-continuation.org/regex-case.egg
http://www.call-with-current-continuation.org/srfi-26.egg
http://www.call-with-current-continuation.org/ssax.egg
http://www.call-with-current-continuation.org/structures.egg
http://www.call-with-current-continuation.org/tcpudp.egg
The manual gives a little bit of information about the
setup-tool and several examples.
(Here are the eggs from the example in the manual:
http://www.call-with-current-continuation.org/functor.egg
http://www.call-with-current-continuation.org/rb-tree.egg)
Any comments would be appreciated.
cheers,
felix
