It would only define one symbol, not all the symbols I was trying to give it. I've posted about the problem. I've also avoided the problem, using the COMPILE_FLAGS feature of the CVS version of CMake. I also needed that to get shared and static builds in the same CMakeLists.txt file. This means I'll have to prepare a special binary of CMake to use for Chicken builds, until CMake 2.3 is officially released.
