I built a Debian package using code provided by someone in the
Debian bug tracker. Attached to this email is the diff against stock
2.6.
If I interpret this file correctly, several compiler options have been
removed in the patch for "configure". Some of those are quite important
and removing them might introduce bugs. Also, the options that
disable certain warnings have been removed.
