I don't know but last I read anything about SWIG was in Chicken 1.
AFAIK it hasn't been kept up-to-date since then.  The swig link
you posted doesn't give much hope either since it mentions Chicken 1
only.  If you want to use swig, prepare for a lot of work in updating
it to a modern version of Chicken.

I never really got the point of Swig; what does it do that you can't
use the FFI or the bind egg for?
