I agree. I am perfectly happy to merge indentation changes to the gui branch's C files, I just need to know when you want it to happen and what indentation style is preferred. an automatic one would be best; we are already committed to reformatting things under jalopy whenever possible. I'll need to warn a few people around here to get any uncommitted C code changes in (essentially a "flag day" around the office).
managing the divergence caused by java-gui-branch is my responsibility; I'll merge it as necessary. it's a choice we made to speed up our development, nobody else should pay for that choice.
