Thanks! This looks really nice is a really good overview. There has been
lots of questions about this part so I committed this now to make it
part of the 0.17 release.

My only concern is that the documentation and the VM-classes will get
out of sync in the future. But the current manual was so badly outdated
already that it would be stupid not to update it with this fresh new
info.

I will also update www.gnu.org so other can more easily read this.
