I changed the name javax to javaxx so that GNU JAXP can be used
with JDK 1.4 and got the same undesirable results when run with JDK 1.4.

bash$ for i in `find . -name '*.java'`; do sed 's/javax\.xml/javaxx.xml/' $i >
$; mv $i $i.old; mv $ $i; done
bash$ mv javax javaxx
bash$ find . -name *.java | xargs javac
bash$ CLASSPATH=. java TestSAX2 file:attribute.xsl
