Can not boot into Windows

Hi,

 

I have the GRUB problem. The GRUB worked flawlessly for 2 years, but I suddenly could not boot into Windows anymore (The linux part is not a problem). The machine hangs with the message:

 

rootnoverify(hd0,0)

chainloader +1

 

I thought I can solve this problem by upgrading RH  7.2 to RH 8.0, which at the same time updates the GRUB bootloader.  Unfortunately, I don't have luck.  Anybody can help?
