No, you aren’t.

My compiler is an x32 (amd64ilp32) compiler on an x32 host system.

The distinction in “32-bit” and “64-bit” didn’t work on MIPS for
a while already (it had o32, n32, n64), and now both x86 and ARM
have more than two too (i386/x32/amd64 and armhf/arm64ilp32/arm64,
or i386/x32/x86_64 and arm/aarch64ilp32/aarch64 in GNU speak).
