I would like to suggest that a --dry-run option is added to chmod and chown so
that when using them recursively it is easy to check what will be affected and
avoid mistakes such overlooking a change of working directory which happens
with the su command.
At present I can't see a way to do this, or if it is possible then perhaps the
documentation could make it a bit clearer?
