It might be - the trick is to have a set of pointers dotted throughout
the text to point back to the Denemo structures, so that any edits can
be incorporated back into Denemo. My guess is that it is easier to
emulate text editors - it would be doing "advanced" things that would
tend to fail anyway, with emulation you would always know that what you
do would work.
