Follow-up Comment #1:
Moving barlines is on the wish list for Denemo. It is not possible to do
other than cut the notes from one side of the barline and paste it on the
other.
However, with the upcoming release it will probably be possible to write a
script to do this, and add it to the Measure menu.
The crash will need a reproducible sequence for a fix - I am suspicious about
cut and paste and undo/redo, and adding measures to one staff only, though I
don't really use these features myself.
