Details:

I get the following crash result when trying to input into denemo from an
external midi keyboard:

** (denemo:11209): WARNING **: Could not read XML file
/home/alex/.denemo/actions/init.denemo

jack_client_new: deprecated
jack_client_new: deprecated
jack_client_new: deprecated
denemo: pcm_plug.c:388: snd_pcm_plug_change_channels: Assertion
`snd_pcm_format_linear(slv->format)' failed.
Aborted


I'm not a linux coder, or lifetime linux user, so i'm unsure if this tells
you anything.
