In a single 4/4 bar i want to place a swell over a semibreve, for
effect. (crescendo from the beginning of the semibreve to beat 3,
which has a dynamic, then decrescendo to the first beat of the next
bar.)

I'm yet to figure this out, after several attempts.

any clues how i might achieve this?
