Where would we put it in general prefernces?
I don't think it needs to be a preference. Perhaps there should be a
movement property to give the tempo. Which would be a menu item Tempo that would set the value, and the default could be 60 or 120 as people
think best.

I'll put a command d-SetTempo

I've called it d-SetMovementTempo, it is in the Movement menu.

to set the tempo on a movement. Then we
can delete/hide the unused parts of the Playback menu
I have done this.

and add master
tempo and master volume commands, looping commands, control of playback
interval etc.

Jeremiah do you fancy writing a separate control pane for this? It would
make the release look more spectacular.

Sure. What code should I be looking at? Should be looking at the entry toolbar? I would assume this can be hidden and displayed like any other toolbar? Would I use GtkSpinButton or some other kind of widget? On the looping point would it be another spin button for the measure number the loop starts and another for loop end? Is playback interval the tempo?

Jeremiah

We are ready to release as soon as all bugs are out of the way. The
windows build especially needs fetta.ttf installing and launch of the
start command to find .pdf file association.
