Its just a visibility thing but many people get confused by the fact
that there is more than one place where you can choose audio-
backends and drivers.
The advanced version would be to introduce a new column in the
"Misc" tab and show the InternalSynth options or JackDeviceManager
options there if its active. This gets rid of tabs and makes it
clear which options belong to what Audio/Midi Setting.
Or we could have a Audio/MIDI tab. In this tab there will be a
dropdown for selecting portaudio, internalsynth, or Jack. Once the
selection is changed the tab is updated to reflect. So when the tab is
opened internalsynth (default) will be selected in the dropdown and
the tab would display the internalsynth settings. If Jack is chosen
the tab will contain the JackDeviceManager. The immediate playback
option can be added to this tab also.
I can get started on this if this sounds like a good idea.
