Follow-up Comment #1, bug #28922 (project denemo):
I think if we are going to allow the cursor off screen we need to able to
prevent users editing by accident at places they cannot see.
Another point: the cursor has to be small, making it difficult to see - we
should have a more prominent hint for its position, for example changing the
background color at its position.
