Thanks for reminding me about this. I got back to the machine today and
tried it out. It turned out it failed always. I just deleted .denemo and
now it works. If I can get back to it I'll have a look and see what
that .denemo had - perhaps an outdated path from some earlier version of
denemo that required a path.
