In general: Please send us your console output when Denemo starts.

Go to Composerprofile: More -> OpOne (or two, three...). Click on it. If a note 
appears something is wrong with the keybindings. If not you have a different 
problem. If "OpOne" is not there, you have a different problem, too. Please 
report.

I don't understand this. Arranger has "Add", the keyname, and Composer has 
"Add", and additionaly "Plus" which is the reported key for something, maybe a 
different language code, I forgot.
The key is that both use the same key.

Edit -> Change Preferecens -> Audio/Midi. 
Midi/Audio-Output: InternalSynth
Audio Driver: Alsa.
This is the default setting.


I suspect a different problem. Not Denemo runtime but install / file system 
related.
Console output will show more.
