Of course, the option of editing the LilyPond text is still there, but
most users will never do that.
I propose making the default be to display both typeset and music-entry
view and make the update continuous, with preferences settable to choose
You can play around with the continuous background typesetting using the
version currently in git.
I think this is such a change as to warrant moving to version 1.0.
