I think Directives->Markings->Textual Annotation

is what you need - You can position above or below, bold or italic (and
then you can drag it, change the font size etc in the typeset view) -
altogether a very flexible way of putting in some text.

You can copy and paste the directive into each part, and using the
Directives->Make a Directive Conditional menu you can make the directive
not typeset for the full score layout. (Alternatively, make it exclusive
to the part layout you use for printing just the part).

There might be better LilyPond syntax to use (so that it only needs to
be placed at the top staff but will appear in each part) but I haven't
looked into that. If you are keen and find out what is needed I can add
it easily (indeed anyone can!). But the above is ok for the job.
