I see I read the error wrong. What versions of libpng do you have on your system? I was using mac os 10.10. I may need to recompile these libs provided with the denemo binary so that it compiles against a more recent version of libpng. You may be able to place one of your systems libpng in the app bundle directory and get it to work. I will look again at my system to see what is going on.

Do you think I should use the newest copy from the Denemo folder to replace the older files in these other locations? Note that the copy of libpng16.16.dylib INSIDE Denemo does not appear to be the one called by librsvg-2.2.dylib.

after installing and jumping through the usual Apple hoops, app fails with an

apparent .dylib mismatch error: 

Dyld Error Message:

  Library not loaded: /opt/local/lib/libpng16.16.dylib

  Referenced from:

/Applications/Denemo.app/Contents/Resources/lib/librsvg-2.2.dylib

  Reason: Incompatible library version: librsvg-2.2.dylib requires version

46.0.0 or later, but libpng16.16.dylib provides version 45.0.0

Is there a correct dylib somewhere that I can drop into the resources

directory of the app?
