By chopping the file about I found that the external link to
lilypond.org had to be re-made and the code about the page numbering
dropped and then the PDF was created. The html wouldn't work but it did
create xhtml, albeit after copying all the images from the docs/images
directory to the docs directory prefixing them with a number and an
underscore separated path name. The path in my case was
/home/rshann/git-denemo/denemo/docs/images so I was able to do a search
and replace on the regular expression:

[0-9]*_home_rshann_git-denemo_denemo_docs_images

replacing it with

images/

and with that the denemomanual.xhtml could be renamed to the denemo-
manual.html which we distribute with Denemo.

I've checked the updates to the manual into the repository now using
that transformation. The PDF version is at

http://git.savannah.gnu.org/gitweb/?p=denemo.git;a=blob_plain;f=docs/denemomanual.pdf;hb=HEAD

as usual. And, as usual the html version has to be run from the program
to get the images in the right place. If anyone notices anything buggy,
or knows how to tell LyX to use relative paths instead of copying the
image files please let me know.

Richard
