What is the difference between the Entry and Entry2 templates?

When I moved a project out of Review: that had the Entry2 template, it
did not display properly. I changed it to Entry, and then it worked as
expected. With Entry2, it did not show the Edit with Form option, and
was not displayed with the pretty tabs.
