I have compiled for WIn95, Win98 using the MS C++ 5.0 compiler
with no problems. Just have to unpack that one .uue file, then
drag & drop.
The Red Hat / Mandrake compile problem with missing Xm/*.h
files appears to be due to Motif (Lesstif) sources not being
installed in these distributions' "standard" configurations.
In recent email correspondence with Steve Rubin, he told me
that the Lesstif-devel (?) RPM needs to be loaded, this will
give you the Xm/ directory (and presumably Good Things will
then happen automagically).
StaticFreeSoftware seems to want to sell binaries, I don't
know how kosher providing them secondhand would be, since
like most I'm disinclined to read the fine print. Does
free sources imply free binaries? I dunno. Steve could
comment.
