I've successfully installed gnuradio-0.8 and have rolled up my sleeves to work
on my specific applications.
In order to get a feel for the system I've been working in the "examples"
directory, studying the existing programs and developing my own. For my
convenience I've modified "Makefile.in" to add the name of my new program(s)
and invoked "make Makefile" to generate a new "Makefile". Then I could just
edit my program(s) and invoke "make" to do the build. It works well and is very
convenient.
Is there a standard, approved, or planned way to do what I just kludged
together? It was necessary to make somewhere around a half-dozen additions to
the "Makefile.in" file.
Best regards,
Joseph
