I've spent the last couple of months working on a complete re-write of
the GNU Radio framework from the bottom up. I pleased with how
it's coming together, though it's not yet ready for prime time.

Me too. The microtune Rx only board is most likely the first
daughterboard we'll have working. That'll be followed by 420 - 450
MHz transceiver.
There's good stuff on the wiki about our progress on the USRP.
