It has a "fast-transfer mode" which gts around some of that limitation.

Actually there's a more serious downside. It turns out that their Linux
driver is broken, and they haven't been able to fix it. It's also
written and tested on RedHat only, and register level information isn't
available for writing one's own driver.

I don't want to seem ungrateful, but my buddy told me I could do
whatever I liked with it, so it's for sale today at 10% discount off
Australian list price. I'll probably be able to buy a USRP and some
daughter cards with the proceeds and still have plenty of change.
