Hello all... I've just recently discovered the gnuradio project, and it
looks really quite interesting. In particular, I've been playing with my BT878
video capture card and saw a few (rather dated) references to using it as a
28/35MHz ADC. Has there been any other work along this front?
I have hacked the card to let me capture with btaudio at (so far) the
448kHz. That part seems relatively easy, but certainly won't capture high
bandwidth signals.
I've also seen references to using v4l's /dev/vbi interface to capture
raw frames. Although it really seems to want to find some sort of sync to
latch onto, I have managed to capture some semblence of a 1kHz AM sine
modulated on TV Channel 3's carrier (61.25).
It seems like an interesting project, and I was wondering if anyone has
pursued it.
