I have not installed gcc-3.4 so far. The only package with 3.4 as id is
libgcc1. Also no libstdc++6. I didn't mention cppunit, but that is
version 1.10.0-5.

I'm not sure what to check all to know which libs are in use precisely,
but this is what libgnuradio-core shows:

 ldd libgnuradio-core.so.0.0.0
                librt.so.1 => /lib/tls/librt.so.1 (0x4011e000)
        libcppunit-1.10.so.0 => /usr/lib/libcppunit-1.10.so.0
        libdl.so.2 => /lib/tls/libdl.so.2 (0x40178000)
        libfftw3f.so.3 => /usr/lib/libfftw3f.so.3 (0x4017b000)
        libstdc++.so.5 => /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5 (0x4026c000)
        libm.so.6 => /lib/tls/libm.so.6 (0x40326000)
        libc.so.6 => /lib/tls/libc.so.6 (0x40348000)
        libgcc_s.so.1 => /lib/libgcc_s.so.1 (0x4047d000)
        libpthread.so.0 => /lib/tls/libpthread.so.0 (0x40486000)
        /lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x80000000)
