Matt's come up with a new FPGA bitstream file that looks like it fixes
the weirdness for decimation==10, and flattens out the decimation==8
case.
You can find the new file at
http://comsec.com/usrp/usrp_fpga_rev2_2005_10_28.rbf
... or miracle of miracles, it will now be installed automatically if you
update and build usrp from CVS.
The md5sum is:
$ md5sum usrp_fpga.rbf
17e5b8720470a2b3e904a48bae471ed3 usrp_fpga.rbf
N.B., if you are using the Quartus tools and compiling the FPGA from
the verilog yourself, this new behavior will probably be a problem for
you. Every time you "make install" in usrp, your custom bitstream will
be overwritten by whatever is stored in CVS.
To keep this from happening, create a file called DONT_INSTALL_RBF in
the installation directory. E.g.,
$ touch /usr/local/share/usrp/rev2/DONT_INSTALL_RBF
Have fun!
