Waaah - and I was so sure that the problem sits in front of the PC :) Well,
at least I had a task during a longer and boring trip by train...

This is indeed a bug, an unfortunate side effect of a semi-last minute
commit before the 3.7.6 release.
Fortunately, it's a one line bug fix I'll be committing to the repository
shortly.
