Hail,
I would like to poke around limeSDR (board and chip) registers from
within a running gnuradio environment. I see that a function
LMS_WriteLMSReg has been added to gr-limesdr although no equivalent for
reading. As an exploration of gnuradio internals with the objective of
one day developing OOT modules, I am planning to add a read facility to
my local gr-limesdr repository. Although an assumption of success may be
delusional on my part, what next? Is this something I should eventually
try to implement (or request) in gr-limesdr? Is it useful to have a
message port in gr-limesdr for general register reading and writing?
Should I be making this query elsewhere? Obviously, I am new to this
process and the gnuradio ecosystem although I am now quite familiar with
current gnuradio and LMS7002 documentation.
Rick
