Two questions about services?

Hi,

I'm currently writing a simple service and facing to problems:

1. once a service is started, how should I restart it to use a newer 
        version of the binary? (right now, I have found nothing better
        than killing it to force GS to fork it again...)

2. Is it possible to start a service in the debugger?
