First of all sorry for having included a wrong attachment in my
previous mail but the fault was in postilion I think.
Now I have really followed the instructions in the step by step guide
and I succeeded! So I can conclude the following thing.
1) The compilation work if you take the cvs-snapshot and compile in order
all the files including gnustep-xdps, if you try to skip this step
as I undertsand from gnustep-HOWTO where this part is classified optional
you cannot compile gnustep-xgps (see included log file).
2) I have not clear the initialization of the environment. I used the
.xinitrc file included and if I use xdps I got a bad drawable window error
message when I try to start GWorkspace and everything stops. If I include
xgps backend I got many times the following message
Jun 22 20:58:07 GWorkspace[844] Warning - decoding archive containing obsolete
NSGMutableArray object - please delete/replace this archive
and
Jun 22 21:02:01 GWorkspace[844] File NSView.m: 640. In [NSClipView -setFrame:]
given negative height
what does it means ?
Is there a tutorial on using gnustep environment?
Thak you very much for the help and sorry for my bad English
Alberto
