Hi,

I am using a more or less current CVS pull of GCC, and it is giving me v3.0.1,
so in my ld.so.conf on a Netwinder I had to change the last line to:
/usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/armv4l-unknown-linux-gnu/3.0.1/

Your architecutre may differ...
