s, p, d, library question

Hi all,

I am writting the gnustep-make chapter for the System Overview document.
The chapter is based on Ovidiu Predescu's Design document in which he
states that the names of shared, profiled and debug libraries get a s,
p, and/or d in the name. Since I messed up my compiler I have no way to
test this. Could someone confirm or deny that these naming conventions
are still in place?
