The (left) Alt-Key represents the Command-Key of NeXT-Machines, whereas
the (right) Alt-Gr is used as Alternate/Mode_switch key; e.g. for
creating special characters like Umlaute.
Of course, you could set your Windows Keys (if your keyboard is unlucky
to have some) to be your Command-Keys.
