Hi,

I had the very same problem and managed to fix it by recompiling everything from scratch after updating my sources from CVS. I don't know why this fixed the problem, but it did (just recompiling the originally downloaded sources did not help!)...:-)

Hello,

I'm trying to get GNUstep set up on Redhat 8.0. I've downloaded and rebuilt the SRPMS. I can compile apps but not run them. gdomap and gdnc are running.

When I log in and GNUstep.sh is run I get the error:

/usr/GNUstep/System/Tools/ix86/linux-gnu/gnu-gnu-gnu/make_services: relocation
error:
/usr/GNUstep/System/Libraries/ix86/linux-gnu/gnu-gnu-gnu/libgnustep- base.so.1:
undefined symbol: __vacall_r

When I try to run a compiled app, it segfaults. In the output I see something
similar to above:

2003-02-17 17:47:55.925 ImageViewer[16654] Running
/usr/GNUstep/System/Tools/ix86/linux-gnu/gnu-gnu-gnu/font_cacher
/usr/GNUstep/System/Tools/ix86/linux-gnu/gnu-gnu-gnu/font_cacher: relocation
error:
/usr/GNUstep/System/Libraries/ix86/linux-gnu/gnu-gnu-gnu/libgnustep- base.so.1:
undefined symbol: __vacall_r

Any ideas?

Thanks.
