Hi Matt,

Sorry, for taking so long.  I just didn't get around to do all the 
testing I wanted before I was out of town.  Richard added the handling 
for debug libraries and I'm commiting the other changes.  There small 
enought that I don't believe the copyright assignment is absolutely 
necessary.
