Gorm Progress 05/22/2003 (Important Changes)

All,

I am still working on some improvements and bug fixes. The interface change
has been temporarily put on hold for a code reorganization.

The latest changes...

I have created a library called GormLib which contains all of the
classes/protocols and defines which are needed to create palettes and custom
inspectors outside of Gorm itself. Previously the code for many of the IB*
classes and protocols were closely tied to the Gorm code. This made creating
palettes, independent of Gorm, a little difficult.

The code for GormLib resides in a subdirectory of Gorm and will need to be
compiled and installed first before Gorm can be compiled. We already do this
with Project Center.

Aside from the obvious advantage of modularity it also opens the door for other
applications to integrate with Gorm. Eventually GormLib will fully support
some of the project extensions which should let it integrate with an IDE (such
as Project Center, but not exclusively) more closely.

Thanks, GJC
