The background is nice on this one, however (probably just me, I fear I
may have a dirty mind or something) some other words that sound similar
occur to me when I see these names:

Skana (too close to Skanky, an image we definitely don't want to
associate with the API, or the programmers)
Ora (too close to Oral, as in GNUstep sucks ****. That's typically a
negative type of statement, conversationally)

Something elegant, ubiquitous, and dignified, and of course, _dynamic_
is needed to fit the bill.Sorry to not contribute anything terribly
constructive with this post, but I am drawing a blank for a good
candidate name that encapsulates the concepts I mentioned.
