As with most esthetics, it's a matter of opinion.  The standard Aqua 
theme looks nice to me, you obviously don't agree.  The best way for 
everyone to have a pleasant desktop is to provide support for themes so 
that each can have a desktop they like, while all of us benefit from the 
superior system architecture present in the GNUstep framework.
