On MacOS it's even easier to just drag-and-drop the file onto the
application's icon (in Finder or in the dock). That is the GUI
equivalent to "Open With..." on the Mac. Though the "Open with..." menu
item exists as well. But you have to do that brain-dead control click if
you're still using that one-button-mouse... *sighs wistfully*
